Tour Details & Application Process
The tour includes visits to several StudyIowa member colleges and universities, interactive learning sessions with admissions and international education professionals, meaningful conversations with current international students, and opportunities to experience Iowa’s culture, and local attractions.
Dates
The tour will be hosted either before or after the International ACAC Annual Conference, which takes place in July 2027 in Ontario, Canada. Interested counselors are able to select their preferred tour date options. However, only one tour will occur. The tentative dates are July 6-11 or July 16-21.
Costs
Compliments of StudyIowa members, selected counselors will receive hosted accommodations with airfare to or from Ontario, Canada for International ACAC, meals, transportation during the tour, campus visits, and scheduled cultural experiences. The tour will offer an engaging firsthand look at the academic opportunities, personalized support, and welcoming communities available to students across Iowa.
Application
Interested counselors are invited to complete a brief, non-binding application interest form to be considered for the Summer 2027 StudyIowa Counselor Tour. Submitting the form does not commit you to participating and allows StudyIowa to learn more about your interest in Iowa as a study destination for international students. Participation is limited, and selections will be made based on tour availability and capacity. Selected counselors will receive additional information about the tour, travel arrangements, and next steps.
